Ringa’s Performance Softboard has been carefully designed to help beginner surfers progress past simple techniques and whitewater surfing. This is the next board in the quiver for a surfer looking to push into the intermediate stage, where the focus transitions to surfing bigger open faced waves, as well as learning to turn and position a surfboard in the more critical sections of a wave without sacrificing stability and control.

It’s outline is based off a widened, thicker version of the Mini Me. The rounded tail gives the surfer a controlled manoeuvrability on the open face, with the wide nose and low entry rocker providing paddle power into the wave. It’s double concave, even curved design rounds out a versatile surfboard that will go in a variety of conditions ranging from waves in the 0.5ft - 4ft range.

The Performance Softboard has a Polystyrene core layered with Epoxy laminate. A firm EVA foam wrap around the deck and rails provides comfort and control under foot, with a hard bottom giving the board a sense of speed and drive off the water. Board is complete with a Futures Fins thruster setup, with fins included.
